We had a fabulous time at Idwala - peace and quiet, exceptional food and very comfortable luxurious rooms. we enjoyed our game drives with Nicole immensely.

We spent the most wonderful weekend at Idwala Game Lodge. Everything was so well organised, from our informative Game Drives with Nicole where we had really upclose and personal sightings of the animals to the stunning meals provided by the Lodge Staff. The accommodation is superb and your every need it met. Will definitely be back.

We spent the most awesome relaxing weekend at Idwala to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The staff were fantastic and Nicole was so informative on our Game Drives. We saw and experienced so much and appreciated the effort everyone went to to make the weekend special. Will definitely be back!

We were totally impressed by the warm friendly welcome we received, this was not just to impress because it carried through till the minute we left. The rooms were really great, spotlessley clean with attention to the small details, ample space and what a view!! The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. The game drives were beyond expectation with all the big 5 evident as well as many other sightings, to experiance rhinos eating the grass next to the wheel of the vehicle was awesome. Thanks again to all the friendly staff for a wonderful stay.

Dit was die beste vakansie wat ons nog ervaar het. Die 5 dae was ongelooflik en daar is goeie vriende gemaak by die lodge. Dit is excellent gasvryheid en kos was wonderlik. Ons was baie tevrede en sal beslis ander soontoe verwys. As die finansies goed lyk gaan ons beslis volgende jaar weer daar kuier. Dankie vir al die personeel by Idwala Lodge. Tot ons weer sien.

What a fantastic place - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thanks to all the team for making our stay so enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly. There were probably 2 main highlights on the game drives - the cheetah mother and her 2 cubs and then the 2 separate viewings we had of the lions, thanks to Nicole the Ranger for her determination in tracking them down. The experience of having a gin and tonic in the South African bush will also remain with us for ever

What a wonderful stay both my wife and I have enjoyed at Idwala! Nothing was to much for you to make our stay truely memorable. The safari trips were exhillerating and the staff polite and courteous - and the food truely superb. We have truely enjoyed our honeymoon in South Africa and this was a fantastic ending. Thank you

It took me nine years to return to Africa and wanted to showcase the wild to my husband! You guys did it to perfection! Thank you for your great hospitality. We have had a very nice and unforgetable two days, seeing allot of animals, especially lions, the elephant family, rhino, hippos and the giraffe. We really enjoyed the nice evenings with brilliant food and very good staff. We'll come back!
